The Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods (SCAN) unit of the Alberta Sheriffs obtained a court order against a property on Highway 28A in Sturgeon County south of Gibbons. The property will be closed for 34 days, beginning on September 3.
Certain individuals have been banned from visiting the property for up to three years.
The court order bars all people from the property until the closure period ends on October 16. The property will be boarded up and locks will be changed.
SCAN members will continue to monitor the property for activity while the investigation continues.
The investigation into this property starting in Spring of 2024, with multiple individuals being evicted from the property in July of last year. This led to complaints of the property being slowed and the case being cl
