UP Elementary Officer to Honor Flood Victims in Boxing Ring

University Park Elementary Student Resource Officer Salvador Sanchez plans to step into the boxing ring on Sept. 13 in honor of three students lost in July’s devasting flood.

Sanchez will compete against other police officers and firefighters in the 24 th Annual Guns & Hoses Boxing Tournament at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, in the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen. Click HERE to purchase a ticket and cheer on Officer Sanchez.

Sanchez has been a dedicated officer for 17 years, and the Student Resource Officer at University Park Elementary for the past four years.
