JACKSON COUNTY, MI – Free parking, dirt shows and farmers market helped drive more attendance to the 2025 Jackson County Fair.
This year, the fair saw 88,986 attendees walk through the gates to enjoy carnival rides, fried food and live entertainment from Aug. 3-9.
This brought in roughly 14,000 more visitors compared to last year, which was 74,231 attendees.
“I think overall the week was just phenomenal, and it was so fun for me, this being my first full year doing it ,” Fair Director Emily Thomas said.
Over the years, attendance at the Jackson County Fair has steadily dropped, with 209,944 people in 2021, 152,843 in 2022 and 138,087 in 2023. Thomas said that free program activities will be key to reversing this trend, she said.
