An inquiry has been launched following the discovery of a mobile phone concealed within the Commons as part of a stunt designed to broadcast "sex noises" during Prime Minister's Questions.
The Times reports that the device was secreted near the front bench and was intended to activate whilst Keir Starmer was facing Kemi Badenoch in the chamber on Wednesday.
Set to play sexually explicit audio, the phone was instead discovered during standard security checks before proceedings commenced. The matter is now being handled with utmost seriousness as it constitutes a significant parliamentary security violation.
No clear CCTV footage exists of the mobile being positioned.
A source informed The Times: "It looks like it was just a prank but it could have been much worse. We don't know ho
