SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Could National Guard troops soon be in Shreveport? Governor Jeff Landry says he would accept the help from President Donald Trump.
This comes after Trump deployed the National Guard to Washington, D.C. to combat crime. President Trump has been targeting Democratic-led cities by deploying or threatening to send troops. He says New Orleans could be next . But Gov. Landry is open to having troops in Shreveport too. KSLA spoke to Mayor Tom Arceneaux to see if he thinks the city needs that help.
