ASCENSION PARISH, La. (WAFB) - The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help finding a man as part of a domestic abuse investigation.

According to Capital Region Crime Stoppers, Derek Turner Jr., 22, is wanted on the charge of domestic abuse battery-strangulation.

Officials described Turner as being 5′8″ and weighing 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about Turner’s whereabouts should contact Crime Stoppers by calling 225-344-7867, submitting a tip anonymously on their website , or downloading the free anonymous P3 Tips app.
