ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The Atlanta Braves host the Seattle Mariners on Friday, marking the 12th of 15 regular season games broadcast on Gray Media in 2025.

The Braves (62-77) have cooled off after beginning the second half of the season on a hot streak. They’re 1-5 in their last six games.

Friday’s game will be the first home start for Chris Sale since returning to the majors. He gave up six hits and one earned run in a 3-2 loss to the Phillies on Aug. 30.

Sale is now the only starter from the Braves’ Opening Day roster who isn’t injured. Grant Holmes (right elbow inflammation), Reynaldo Lopez (shoulder), Spencer Schwellenbach (elbow) and AJ Smith-Shawver are on the 60-day injured list at once.

All four are expected to return in 2026 at the earliest.
