Auburn football is two days away from its home opener against Ball State.

Currently sitting as a 43.5-point favorite in the game, Auburn coach Hugh Freeze is not taking the matchup lightly.

The Cardinals limited Purdue to 93 rushing yards in last week’s 31-0 loss to the Boilermakers and finished with five tackles for loss. However, Freeze has focused his scouting on their secondary as Auburn plans to open up its passing game this week.

“They’re a base out of a quarters team, which most quarters’ teams, safeties are active in the fit.
