PHILADELPHIA -- Philadelphia Eagles DT Jalen Carter was ejected from Thursday night's season opener against the Dallas Cowboys before the first snap of the game.
Carter was disqualified after spitting on Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott during an injury delay at Lincoln Financial Field.
It happened after Eagles FB Ben VanSumeren went down with an injury during the kickoff return.
While play was stopped, Carter was seen approaching the Cowboys' huddle.
Prescott and Carter appear to exchange words for a few moments before Carter appears to spit on Prescott.
It all happened right in front of an official, who immediately threw a flag.
