WASHINGTON — A woman is safe after police received reports of a kidnapping in Northeast D.C. on Thursday night.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), officers were called to the intersection of Oklahoma Ave. and 24th St, NE, around 7:45 p.m.

When investigators arrived, they were told a man forced a woman into a white Honda Odyssey.

Police confirmed to WUSA9, roughly two hours later, that the woman had been located and is safe.

No arrests have been made at this time.
