An at-risk 79-year-old woman with dementia who depends on medication was reported missing after she was last seen earlier Thursday in La Sierra.

Marian Amelia Pagano was last seen around 12:40 p.m. Thursday in the 10600 block of Crass Street, near Polk Street, between Collett and Magnolia avenues, according to the Riverside County Police Department.

Pagano was described as a 5-foot-5-inch-tall woman weighing 140 pounds with blonde hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black dress with white polka dots and no shoes.

Detectives were utilizing scent-tracking dogs, along with air resources, to actively search for Pagano throughout the day.

Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts was urged to call the Public Safety Communications Center at 951-354-2007.
