SPARKS, Nev. (KOLO) - The Washoe County Regional Animal Services is asking for the public’s help locating Miguel Olier, a suspect in an ongoing animal cruelty investigation.

Olier is in his mid-40s and is 5-foot-9. He is believed to be in the Reno/Sparks area and may be unhoused or staying at short-term locations.

The Wednesday, Sept. 3, incident in the 800 block of Nichols Boulevard in Sparks involved a black male long-haired Chihuahua/Spaniel mix named Prince.

Prince weighs about 13.5 pounds and is missing his right hind leg.

It is unknown whether Prince is with Olier.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Olier or Prince, or has information that could help in the investigation, are asked to contact Washoe County Regional Animal Services Dispatch at (775) 322-3647.
