Two Edinburgh e-scooter riders were brought to a halt by police on Wednesday afternoon.
Officers were patrolling the Grassmarket area on September 3. One unregistered scooter was stopped and it was seized.
While carrying out investigations, a second went past and was also seized by police.
The riders were reported for Road Traffic Offences. It comes as Police Scotland continue to crackdown on road crime.
They informed locals of the discovery on Thursday morning.
A statement from Police Scotland reads: "Officers of the National Motorcycle Unit East stopped one unregistered scooter in the Grassmarket Edinburgh.
"While seizing one. Another went past. Both seized. Both riders reported for Road Traffic Act offences."
