Holidaymakers who depend on Jet2's budget-friendly prices will discover fewer seats on offer in the upcoming months, after the low-cost airline received disappointing earnings forecasts.
The budget travel firm is poised to withdraw approximately 200,000 seats from the marketplace over the coming months, leaving 5.6 million available during the winter season.
While this still represents a nine per cent increase compared to last year, Jet2 has opted to reduce its expansion plans following predictions that the travel operator's profits would miss expectations.
