In his second season with the Saskatchewan Roughriders , Jacob Brammer has become a mainstay along the offensive line.
Prior to coming to the CFL, the 26-year-old right guard suited up for the North Texas Mean Green from 2018-21 before playing for the Vanderbilt Commodores in 2022.
The Texas product then had a couple of NFL workouts with the New York Giants and Miami Dolphins before being picked up by the UFL’s St. Louis Battlehawks. But with uncertainty surrounding the XFL and UFL at the time, Brammer decided to come to the CFL and signed with the Roughriders, who held his negotiation rights.
And this weekend, Brammer will be playing in his 16th career game as the Green and White visit the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Saturday in the Banjo Bowl.
