A strong elderly man gave a pair of robbers more than they bargained for when they tried to rip a $48,000 Rolex off his wrist in front of his wife. ‌

The retired couple, Larry Schwartz, 87, and Joanna Cuccia, 89, were approaching their senior residential building when the pair of thieves caught them off guard. One of the thieves held the door open for the couple and asked them for directions to a Walmart, the New York Post reported. ‌
