SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Celebrate Springfield is returning this weekend, with its 4th annual kickoff event slated for Sunday, Sept. 7, from 1-4 p.m. at Hammons Field.

This free, family-friendly event will feature activities such as live music, food trucks, interactive booths, a beverage garden, swag bags and a roadmap across 417-land.

Celebrate Springfield 2025 is the signature event of a year-long initiative from Celebrate Springfield to help the community discover and enjoy some of the fun things in the city. The theme for this year is "Love Where You Live," celebrating the sum of what Springfield has to offer, according to Celebrate Springfield.

Celebrate Springfield is also a partner of other local events this fall, including the Japanese Fall Festival from Sept. 5-7 and Culture Fest 20
