THE SEATTLE SEAHAWKS are taking drastic action to crack down on bad behaviour from fans this season.

Some games at Lumen Field last season were sadly attended by unruly and abusive fans.

And the Seahawks brass will use covert measures to stop louts from causing trouble and ruining games for decent-mannered supporters.

The franchise will deploy undercover police officers in the stands to ensure fans are following the team's code of conduct.

The deployed cops, however, will disguise themselves in rival teams' jerseys.

The measure is being implemented to stop rival fans from being harassed by abusive or drunken supporters.

It also aims to curtail any disruptive or illegal activities taking place in the ground.
