A pair of alleged shoplifters didn't get far after stealing $2,000 worth of clothing from a TJ Maxx store in Massachusetts this week -- they were caught a short time later while waiting in line at the drive-thru of a nearby Wendy's.

Auburn police said they received a report around 2 p.m. Wednesday that two women had just shoplifted from TJ Maxx. An employee said the suspects made off with more than $2,000 worth of merchandise and were seen fleeing in a black Ford Edge with Connecticut plates.
