DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - A woman was arrested after being charged with assaulting another woman with a knife on Monday.

According to authorities, police responded to a reported stabbing near Central Avenue and Grand Avenue around 9:57 p.m.

Officers found the victim, a 36-year-old woman, in the Circle K gas station across the street from Memorial Park, where she said she was allegedly attacked.

According to the victim, 37-year-old Tasha Carlson was in the park screaming and yelling all day.

The victim was allegedly outside of the park when she was approached by Carlson and attacked.

According to authorities, Carlson threatened to stab the victim, then attempted to stab her in the abdomen.

The victim was able to block it and put Carlson in a headlock, when she was then stabb
