The Joplin Regional Airport will have new boarding and deplaning bridges for passengers sometime late next year.

In order the meet federal deadlines for funding of the project, an agreement with Wright Construction Services to replace the existing bridges received Joplin City Council authorization via an emergency ordinance at a meeting Tuesday night. ×
