NIACC falls in home conference opener to WIT
The NIACC Trojans fell in straight sets to Western Iowa Tech on Wednesday (18-25, 16-24, 21-25). Jocelynn Coleman had a great game with nine kills, three digs and a block. Brielle Volker had four kills, 13 digs and two blocks. Kenedee Frayne led the team in assists with 12 while also posting up seven digs.
“We struggled to put our team together tonight and build on top of the small successes,” head coach Chris Brandt said. “There were moments where we did some really good things and our team needs to give ourselves a chance to thrive together.”
