A family outing at the Shoshone Ice Caves in Lincoln County, Idaho, took a frightening turn when a walkway bridge collapsed, sending several people into icy waters below.

With a camera and selfie stick in hand, the Garcia family from Idaho Falls was enjoying a Labor Day weekend tour.

During the 5 p.m. tour, a guide was explaining the cave's history when the left side of the bridge suddenly gave way, KTVB reports.
