LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
A Louisville woman is facing a theft charge after she allegedly stole thousands from the bank she worked at and gave it to someone she is in an "online relationship" with.
Police arrested Lois Kemp, 42, on Wednesday. She is charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition $10,000<$1,000,000.
An arrest slip says Kemp was a lead teller at Fifth Third Bank on Bardstown Road.
From July 28 to Aug. 12, Kemp was allegedly stealing money from the bank and sending it to someone she was in an online relationship with.
Police are still working to determine how much money was stolen, but they said the loss is greater than $10,000.
Kemp is set to be arraigned on Oct. 15.
