The 2024-2025 Standards of Learning results show that Roanoke County Public Schools saw an increase in pass rates for math, reading and science, and no change to pass rates in social studies.

Statewide, Roanoke County ranked higher in all four subjects than it did last year, remaining in the top 10 for reading and math and falling into the top 20 for science and social studies. Ben Williams, director of assessment and research for the division, presented the results to the Roanoke County School Board during its work session on Thursday.
