COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - An age-progressed photo of a child who police say was taken from his crib in 1986 has been made public in hopes of finding out what happened to him.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) released the age progression photo of what Christopher Abeyta could look like today.

The NCMEC said Abeyta was abducted from his home in Colorado Springs on July 15, 1986, when he was 7 months old, and his family is hoping that the image of what he may look like today can help them figure out what happened to him.

Abeyta would be 39 years old now.

NCMEC said he had blue eyes and light brown hair at the time of his disappearance.
