DURHAM, Connecticut —
Parents in Durham and Middlefield say they’re upset at traffic congestion problems at both Frank Ward Strong School and John Lyman School.
They say the issues stem from the Memorial Middle School construction project in Middlebury. These parents report that more students are being dropped off in the carpool lane this year, which is causing safety concerns for students and other drivers in the area.
"It’s all centralized on that Main Street. If anything were to happen, the traffic is just concerning,” said an anonymous Durham mother.
