VILLAGE OF RIDGEWAY, Wis. (WKOW) — A village of Ridgeway man was arrested following a disturbance in a construction zone on Thursday.
The Iowa County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle collision near USH 18-151 and County Road HHH, according to a press release.
Deputies identified the driver as Brian S. McConnell, 60, who admitted to moving a barricade and entering the closed area.
Investigations revealed McConnell attempted to turn around at a high speed, nearly hitting a worker. His vehicle rolled into a parked semi after he exited to confront workers, according to the sheriff's office.
McConnell was later taken into custody and arrested for felony recklessly endangering safety.
