ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) - You’ve heard of Christmas in July, well folks in Roanoke County are having Christmas in September for one of their own.
This comes after a William Byrd High School senior was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer.
People living in a Bonsack neighborhood are showing their support in a unique way.
Neighbors living in Summerfield and many other parts of the Roanoke Valley will be decorating their homes with Christmas lights in the coming days.
They’re doing this to show support for Camden Thepsimuong, the William Byrd High School senior who was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma last year.
“Camden is an amazing person. He is such a bright light to so many,” said Missy Peroulas.
All throughout his life, Camden has loved celebrating Christmas.
He said some of his fondes
