QUINCY (WGEM) - Transportation Director Marty Stegeman reported that Quincy Transit Lines will be changing Route 3 while construction continues on Broadway.

Stegeman said the Route 3 bus will use 18th Street and go south on Hampshire when returning to the 7th and Jersey Transfer Point.

He said the bus will go west on Hampshire to 12th Street and will turn north toward Broadway to resume the normal route.

Stegeman said those who board the bus between 12th and Broadway and 18th and Broadway will need to go to Hampshire Street to catch the bus going to 7th and Jersey.

Stegeman said the eastbound bus will continue to use Broadway as both lanes are still open.

Stegeman said the change will remain in place until construction is completed and all lanes are open again.
