We are happy to see rainfall return to the Western Slope today, but there will be plenty more where that came from! A messy combination of Pacific moisture and contrasting zones of pressure will make for a busy couple of weather days, both to end this week and the next one. This evening a spare shower or two will hang around, however, overnight showers will briefly calm. Saturday looks to be the overall most potent day for rainfall on the Western Slope, with widespread rain showers expected. Periods of heavy rainfall will be possible, although that doesn't mean it will be quite like what we saw on Thursday.
