The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County recorded its third consecutive slight increase since the end of a run of 12 increases in 13 days, rising three-tenths of a cent Friday to $4.644.

The average price rose one-tenth of a cent Wednesday and two-tenths of a cent Thursday after dropping two-tenths of a cent Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 3 cents more than one week ago, 17.7 cents higher than one month ago and 3.6 cents greater than one year ago. It has dropped $1.849 since rising to a record $6.493 on Oct. 5, 2022.
