Mi Pueblo Supermarket, City of Pelham resolve matters

PELHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A supermarket and the City of Pelham have announced a public hearing scheduled for Monday, Sept. 8 has been canceled.

This cancellation comes after both parties reached an “agreement to resolve outstanding matters to the satisfaction of both parties.”

Both the City of Pelham and Mi Pueblo say they’re moving forward in continued partnership with a shared commitment to supporting the Pelham community.

Mi Pueblo Supermarket LLC is described on their website as the largest multicultural store in the state of Alabama, boasting a wide range of products from Mexico, Central and South America.

The store has two locations: one in Homewood and one in Pelham. The Pelham one is located at 3060 Pelham Pkwy.
