Two people shot near Speedway, Silverlake in Tucson

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - Two people were shot near Speedway and Silverbell in Tucson on Friday, Sept. 5.

The Tucson Police Department confirmed it happened north of the El Rio Neighborhood Center, which is in the 1400 block of West Speedway.

The TPD confirmed two people were shot and both suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.

Detectives are investigating, and more information will be released later. According to the TPD, there was a large-scale search for suspects.
