SEVILLE, Ohio – One Northeast Ohio school district is working on a plan to reduce property taxes for district residents to help offset the impact of the projected 25% increase in property values from Medina County’s 2025 sexennial real estate reappraisal.

The Cloverleaf Board of Education is working on a plan to reduce the district’s permanent improvement levy and two emergency (fixed-dollar) levies by a total of 3.3 mills – a 58% reduction in voted property tax millage. Under the proposed plan, the board is planning to not ask taxpayers for any new funding until at least 2032, according to a district news release.
