Suspicious person: Wilson Mills Road

A Panini’s employee reported at 11:32 p.m. Sept. 1 that while he was taking out trash, he witnessed a man trying to open car doors in the Home Depot and Kohl’s parking lots.

Responding officers located the suspect near Key Bank. He said that he was collecting Home Depot receipts and that he had been dropped off there by a woman who was to return for him. That woman arrived a short time later and officers observed baggies of suspected crack cocaine and other drug paraphernalia in her vehicle.

The Geneva man, 38, and Willoughby woman, 49, were subsequently released but advised they would likely be facing charges pending test results of the suspected drugs.
