OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - It’s a chilly start to the weekend as temperatures fell to the lower to mid 40s. Norfolk did fall to the upper 30s. Temperatures will recover quickly as we see another fall-like weekend. Expect slightly warmer temps as we peak to 70°.

It’ll be perfect for college and professional football so if you’re going to a game or having a watch party, you don’t have to worry about the weather.

Sunday will start off quite chilly again with temperatures in the low 40s; some spots in western Iowa may briefly dip into the upper 30s again.

Warming will start kicking in with mid 70s for highs Sunday and a return to the 80s next week. Along with that, the mugginess will increase too, giving us a more summer-like feel.
