Syracuse, N.Y. — After a summer’s worth of waiting, the Section III girls soccer season is here and teams across the area have begun playing games over the past week.

Last season, Cicero-North Syracuse won its second consecutive Class AAA crown , East Syracuse Minoa avenged a 2023 sectional final loss to West Genesee to beat the Wildcats for the 2024 Class AA title and New Hartford won its fourth straight Class A sectional title and went all the way to the state championship game.
