AUSTIN (KXAN) — Vann Hopping scored four touchdowns, including a 95-yard scoring run, to lead No. 5 Lake Travis over Rockwall 28-20 in Rockwall on Friday in Central Texas high school football action.

The game was delayed by almost an hour due to lightning in the area around halftime. Lake Travis trailed 20-14 late in the third quarter before Hopping electrified the crowd with his long touchdown run.

Lake Travis (2-0) hosts Midland Legacy next week.

In other action, Anderson blanked Elgin 42-0 and Dripping Springs clobbered San Antonio Wagner 55-0. Buda Hays picked up a 35-31 win over Pflugerville and Vandegrift topped Cedar Park 35-14.

Rouse outlasted Liberty Hill 49-43 in overtime, and Wimberley beat Fredericksburg 28-21. Westwood beat Austin High 39-9.
