The Oroville High School football team nearly got its first win since the 2020 season Friday night at home, but the Tigers lost 36-30 to Central Valley.
Oroville led 32-30 with one minute and 47 seconds remaining, but a short kick off was returned to the Oroville 30-yard line. Four play later, with 45 seconds remaining, Central Valley scored to take a 36-32 lead and hold on for the victory.
Oroville (0-2) plays next at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Durham.
