MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Memphis Police are searching for two men after they tried to carjack someone, according to the Memphis Police Department.
On Thursday, at 8:55 p.m., officers responded to an attempted carjacking on Raleigh Millington Road near Harriet Road.
Officers were told that the victim finished pumping gas into his car when two men approached him from the side, pointed a handgun at him, and demanded his car keys.
The victim tussled with one of the men before driving away from the gas pumps, according to police.
One of the suspects then shot at the victim’s vehicle as he drove away from the scene.
Both men then ran away from the scene.
