A woman believed to be homeless was served with outstanding warrants this week, charging her with an armed robbery incident that occurred earlier this year.
Malliyah Angelia McCain, 21, was placed in the Sampson County Detention Center Tuesday, Sept. 2, under a $125,000 bond, charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to rob with a dangerous weapon, and larceny of a firearm, all felonies.
Sampson County Sheriff’s Capt. Marcus Smith said deputies training in Salemburg spotted the suspect in town and immediately took her into custody.
She is charged with an April robbery that reportedly took place in the Plain View community.
