CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) -- Drivers will have to navigate through one last round of surface treatments in Clearfield County next week, PennDOT announced.
The treatments, also known as "oil and chip", look to seal roadways to keep water out, restore friction to allow for more traction, and extend the life of the roads between resurfacing.
PennDOT expects crews to be out working through the county beginning Monday, Sept. 8, and will adhere to this schedule, weather permitting:
Monday, Sept. 8 • Route 2027 (Mineral Springs Road) between Route 2024 in Boggs Township and Route 2030 in Bradford Township • Route 2028 (Long Run Road) between Route 2027 and Route 2049 in Boggs Township • All of Route 2030 (Bigler Cutoff Road) in Bradford Township
Monday, Sept. 8 and Tuesday, Sept 9
