Fort Wayne business owner calling for action after being attacked in his own store

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A Fort Wayne business owner is calling for action after he was recently attacked in his own store.

It was business as usual at Fae’s Cabinet on Friday, until around 5:45 p.m.

That’s when Travis Tribolet Ward says a man entered his store and waited for customers to leave before attacking him approximately 15 minutes later.

According to Ward, the attacker approached him and began questioning his character and religion before punching and kicking him.

The attack went on to last nearly 15 minutes, he says.

Ward says the attack came to an end when it moved outside, and a next-door neighbor was able to intervene.

At that point, Ward was able to call police.
