CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Eight people were taken to the hospital following a crash in east Charlotte Saturday evening.

According to Medic, the crash happened on East W.T. Harris Blvd and Hub Way shortly before 6:30 p.m.

Initially, Medic transported four people with serious injuries and one person with minor injuries, but later, an MCI bus transported three others with minor injuries.

Details are limited at this time. It is unclear what caused the crash.
