Firefighters have released an update on a large blaze that involved an aircraft hangar . Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue crews were called to the scene of a large fire in Reach Road, Burwell just before 6.45pm on Saturday (September 6).

The fire involved an aircraft hangar containing a tractor. Firefighters carried out an investigation into the fire on Sunday (September 7). It has been determined as a deliberate fire.

A fire spokesperson said: “The investigation has concluded the cause of the fire was deliberate. Anyone with information should contact police by visiting www.cambs.police.uk to submit an online report or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
