Even though an ankle issue forced the New England Patriots to list him as questionable heading into the weekend, left tackle Will Campbell has been cleared for the season opener against the Las Vegas Raiders. The first-round rookie, who first popped up on the injury report on Thursday, is not among the seven players declared inactive for the contest.
With Campbell in the fold, the Patriots will have their top offensive line available against Maxx Crosby and company. This means that the lineup should look as follows: besides Campbell at left tackle, the Patriots will also field fellow rookie Jared Wilson at left guard, Garrett Bradbury at center, Mike Onwenu at right guard, and Morgan Moses at right tackle.
Also active as backup options are tackles Marcus Bryant and Vederian Lowe as well
