KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Chiefs second-year wide receiver Xavier Worthy could miss some time after suffering a shoulder injury in Week 1 vs. the Los Angeles Chargers.

According to reports, Worthy was diagnosed with a dislocated shoulder and is still undergoing tests to determine the severity of the injury. There is hope he will return this season with a brace.

However, if Worthy is forced to undergo surgery to repair his shoulder, he'd be sidelined for the rest of the season.

Worthy got injured only three plays into the game, on the Chiefs' first pass attempt after colliding with Travis Kelce during his route. He left the game and did not return.
