The Detroit Lions got off to a nightmare start to the 2025 season, going on the road and losing 27-13 to the Green Bay Packers in a game that wasn’t even as close as the score looks.

The Lions moved the ball about as well as the Packers throughout the game, but struggled mightily in the red zone after being one of the best teams in the NFL inside the 20-yard line last season.

The road toward a third consecutive NFC North title starts off rocky for the Lions as they also snap a three-game winning streak at Lambeau Field.
