GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) - Beautiful, uncontrolled chaos. That’s how pup parents described the scene of the 21st annual Dog Days at Lincoln Park on Sunday afternoon.

For over two decades at the end of the summer season, the city has given Grand Junction’s four legged friends a VI-Pup pass to an exclusive swim in the Lincoln Park-Moyer pool. No humans allowed.

This year, the dog days of summer on the Western Slope saw record breaking heat and regular triple digit temps. For dog parents, a pool day was a perfect way to socialize and stay cool, after so many days of chilling indoors.
